Examples of our work and planned activities in this exciting field include:

  • Assessing AMR and SMR designs as part of the licensing or approvals.

  • Early work to make sure fusion research is secure.

  • Expert advice to deliver secure maritime deployment of SMR.

  • Expert advice to academic research and university departments. 

  • De-risking commercialisation opportunities so that security becomes business-enabling.

  • Identifying areas where best practice form the nuclear industry can explore other cutting edge technologies from direct or indirect threats.

We work with partners, clients and relevant authorities to ensure that novel technology is secure. Across SMR, AMR and fusion we work to make sure that projects, programmes, processes and products are protected and commercially viable.
